As a part of the Bydgoszcz Academy of Art we invite you to a workshop entitled “Techniques for repairing veneered furniture – learn the principles and try them out on your own furniture.” It will be presented by Małgorzata Budzich – owner of a studio and the Odnawialnia, blog, an experienced trainer who has been running workshops in furniture and upholstery restoration for many years.

The workshop will introduce you to techniques for repairing veneer on old furniture. You will learn, among other things:
– how to mask defects in veneer
– how to repair bulges and cracks
– what glues are used for veneer
– how to remove old veneer from furniture
– what tools are needed to work with veneer
– how to remove old veneer.
