“Art in the High Noon” is a series of meetings devoted to art and culture in a broad sense, addressed to people aged 60+. The meetings offer discussions on contemporary art, and creative activities that develop cognitive processes, improving manual dexterity by learning different art techniques and forms of art.
PHOTOGRAPHER – ARTIST OR CRAFTSMAN?
The motivation to reflect on the essence of photography is the current monographic exhibition “The black-and-white world of 1960s in the photography of Ildefons Bańkowski”. This time, the meeting with seniors will be an interactive lecture about the attitudes and functions of the photographer, and the participants will take part in a showcase of the possibilities offered by contemporary photography.
The presentation will be conducted by Adam Juszkiewicz, a Bydgoszcz photographer, populariser of photography and author of many photographic projects, who is engaged in portrait and documentary photography on a daily basis.
