Dr. in architectural engineering Barbara Bańkowska – Błonie Residential District in 1960s.
The Błonie residential district is an exceptional project. It is a model landscaping of a housing estate, where for the first time in Poland a full segregation of pedestrian and road traffic was applied, as well as comprehensive pedestrian accessibility to basic services (schools, kindergartens, nurseries). It can be a model for modern solutions. Barbara Bańkowska will talk about the history of the Błonie residential district and its landscaping.
