In October 2016, the Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz initiates Bydgoszcz Academy of Art. As in the previous years, there will be lectures on contemporary art. This year’s edition will also include lectures on collecting and presenting contemporary art.
Lectures of the Bydgoszcz Academy of Art will focus on issues related to the conviction of the fundamental community of all fields of art, mutual interaction of visual arts with literature, theatre, music. They will touch upon the matters related to the popularity and availability of visual arts, art market, collecting, they will present the most important Polish museums and galleries of modern art, will show the place of Polish artists in the spectrum of world art.
