We would like to invite you to another lecture of the Bydgoszcz Academy of Art.
I was brought together with my closest friends Małgosia Malinowska and Tomek Kempa by our love of sport and design. In 2009 we founded the group Tabanda, driven by a fascination with the material and a desire to explore its potential and limitations. Wood and plywood are Tabanda’s mark. When treated by hand, they take on a personal touch. Tabanda’s style is based on subtle contrasts and non-obvious juxtapositions. Nature-inspired motifs are smuggled into modern geometric forms, and raw, industrial accents are combined with vibrant, cheerful colours.

Dr Filip Ludka – since 2013, he has been working at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk where he currently leads the Furniture Design Studio at the Faculty of Interior Design. In his teaching work, he wants to demonstrate the need to combine design with contact with real materials using modern technologies and traditional craftsmanship.
