Subject: Herbal incense – the spirit of plants
Presented by: Katarzyna Rymarz
The history of the use of incense, its burning and trailing is very long. Even in ancient times, people believed in the magical power of smoke from the burning of selected plants. Burning herbs for a specific intention was once a common practice, with the aim of purifying the air of negative energy and disease and replacing them with health, happiness and love.
During the meeting, we will make herbal incense from plants native to Makowisko. For the herbaceous composition, we will use aromatic herbs: tanacetum, lavender or mugwort. Such a combination is ideal for warm evenings spent on the terrace or in the garden, as it repels insects in addition to its relaxing properties.
Naturam si sequemur ducem, nonquam aberrabimus.
If we are guided by nature, we will never get lost.
