The Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz invites you to the European Night of Museums 2018, from 6pm to 1am on May 19th, so that in the unique night scenery of the city you can experience contemporary art on a new and different level.
This year, we are going to give bags to the visitors. Maybe not to all of them, but these who will take part in workshops, will receive a unique backpacker bag with their own compositions as a souvenir. Bags and sacks will be useful for all lovers of contemporary art, because we intend to organize a great sale of catalogues. So it will be a real opportunity to fill the shelves in home libraries for a small amount of money.
During this special night we will present two exhibitions. On the first floor of the Gallery we will see the works of lecturers from the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz and the University of Arts in Poznań, who will show various techniques and perspectives on art, that is the annual exhibition “Synthesis of Arts.” The second floor will host an individual exhibition of Sebastian Krzywak’s paintings “Flatten Image.” The tour will take place in a unique atmosphere of additional attractions and surprises, which will be prepared for people craving contemporary art.
The Kantorek Gallery (3 Gdańska St.) will also be open to the public (between 6pm and 2am). It will present Danuta Jamiołkowska’s exhibition – DOM?
