A lecture of the Bydgoszcz Academy of Art.
The factor that initiates the development of each kind of creativity, especially the artistic one, is an error. It is a very valuable footprint of our identity. It is a very unique and individual element. It does not seem to be accidental. It initiates a very valuable process of wandering and throws us off the routine. An error pushes artist out of the way they know and follow. It puts them in a place they have never been to before, and have not thought it might exist. Disregarding fields of art and classifications, it reveals its intermedia character. Hidden in gestures, it influences an artistic style. It is the beginning of improvement, even though it is just an imperfect and unwanted form itself.
The lecture will be a presentation of artistic experiences of errors and wandering in drawing, sculpture, graphics art and music graphics, the fields related to the activities of the author. It will also discuss the issue of gesture in art.
