Subject: Traces – the stamp of time

Seemingly random events, fragments of memories, objects and places marked with emotions. These elements make up the picture of the past. These are the traces that seal time. Seniors from Mrocza shared them in front of the camera. The pre-premiere screening of the film “Traces” by Justyna Misterkiewicz will begin with a meeting with Dariusz Gackowski, photographer and filmmaker, the author of cinematography for this production. We will also see his original project “Do naprawy” (For repairing) and talk about photography as a way of preserving not only personal traces.
Dariusz Gackowski – member of the Association of Polish Photographers. Studied at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw. Graduate of the Wajda School in Warsaw. Reportage and documentary are the main fields of his photography. Since 2006, he has also been making documentaries. He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including a nomination for the Independent Cinema OFFSKARY 2008.
