Adult workshops accompanying the jubilee exhibition of Stanisław Stasiulewicz “De facto – Tomorrow it will be better”.
For almost 20 years, the artist has been teaching at the “mega-Art” Occupational Therapy Workshop and building the Bydgoszcz-based art brut formation, the “Reflexionists” art group. Every day after class at 2.15 p.m., he would collect palettes with leftover paints, dip his hand in them and, with one spontaneous, uninhibited gesture, produce works on silver cardboard. The composition “Record of Emotions 14:15” consists of a dozen or so works that form a single entity.
In the workshop we will have the chance to express our emotions. Will we choose action painting, like the artist? Or will we be inspired by the collage we see in the exhibition? It all depends on our mood and emotions at the time.
