At the meeting, we will learn what animal rehabilitation looks like and who can benefit from it. What are the indications and contraindications, do the pets cooperate and what results can we expect and on what equipment the exercises are performed. Finally, a kinesiotherapy demonstration with the English bulldog Fram.
Presented by: Sprawne Łapy Fizjoterapia Zwierząt – Justyna Piontkowska – graduate of the School of Animal Physiotherapy, running a mobile animal rehabilitation clinic in Toruń for 9 years. She has attended countless refresher courses, most recently in animal taping, IASTM tool therapy and fascial manipulation. Volunteer with the KOT Foundation for 14 years. She also works with the Toruń-based Asylum for Rabbits and the Kociniec Cat Orphanage Foundation. In the past, she was a hippotherapist and horse riding instructor. Hundreds of traumatised animals have passed through her hands, following orthopaedic and neurological operations, as well as old animals for whom she has a special affection. She enjoys working with difficult and unusual cases and with animals that require patience, calmness and sensitivity. He lives with a flock of pets: four cats and two rabbits.
