The Society for Cultural Initiatives represented by Dr. Stefan Pastuszewski, and the Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz invite you to the 11th Visual Arts Competition for artists from Bydgoszcz.
In this edition, the artists will face the theme of “Exhibition.” The possibility of any artistic interpretation will certainly liberate the artists’ creativity and encourage them to follow their own, subjective paths of art. The works can be done in any technique, with a dimension not exceeding 2500cm2. Each artist can prepare a maximum of three works. Forms such as diptych or triptych are treated as one work, the total dimensions of which cannot exceed 2500cm2. In the case of sculptural and spatial works, the dimension counted in each shot may not exceed 2500cm2.
Works already prepared for display – framed, with hangers – should be submitted to the Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz (3 Gdańska St.) from September 1st to November 8th, 2019.
The jury will award three prizes and three distinctions funded by the President of Bydgoszcz. Selected projects will be presented at an exhibition organised by the curators: Elżbieta Kantorek and Karolina Rybka. The opening of the exhibition will take place on December 6th, 2019.

We invite all interested artists* to participate in the competition.
*Amateur artists cannot enter the competition.
