In 2011, in Bydgoszcz, the Department of Visual Arts, where people study Interior Design, was established within the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Environmental Preservation of the J.J. Śniadeccy University of Technology and Life Sciences.

We would like to present the first selected undergraduate theses that students defended in 2014. Interior design is an interesting part of artistic activity that combines art and technology. People working in this field need to be artistically creative and have the skills to move within the world of increasingly complex construction, furniture and lighting technology. The presented projects aim to reveal a wealth of subjects this designing domain touches upon. So the exhibition presents the most obvious projects, aiming at improving the comfort and aesthetics of our apartments and houses. There are also project of public spaces, residential floating objects, or a project of stage space. The exhibition is accompanied by presentation of prototypes of furniture, lighting and architectural models that are created in the process of educating students. Moreover, we present projects of artistic installations in the space of Długa St., created in the studio of stage and auditorium space.
