The images presented at the exhibition have been inspired by the Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Open-airs which took place in the years 2012-2014 in the village of Brda, the Tuchola Forest. The curator of all the editions was famous poet, painter and singer Jan Wołek. Guests were hosted at the Zielony Wiatr boarding house. Open-airs were organised through the efforts of the President of the Via Natura association and Andrzej Kobiak, Senator of the Republic of Poland. During beautiful autumn days masters of painting sought creative inspiration in the charming surroundings of the Brda river. The result of this search are images inspired by the picturesque spots of the Tuchola Forest, its stunning nature, tranquillity, unique landscapes and climates. In 2013, the post-open-air exhibitions were presented in Warsaw, in the Sejm, and in Bydgoszcz.
