Danuta Jamiołkowska studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She got the diploma in colour workshop graphics in metal in the studio of Prof. Edmund Piotrowicz. She deals with painting, drawing, collage, graphic design and didactic work – she cooperates with artistic faculties of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. She has participated in many group exhibitions. She is the author of several individual exhibitions presented in Sztum, Elbląg, Lubostroń and Bydgoszcz, where she made her début at the Little Art Salon in 1977. She has done graphic projects for the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz and the Medical Academy in Bydgoszcz (cycles of teaching aids). Since 2013, she has been working on graphic design of publications of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. She created her own publication, the Booklets on Life I and II. Lives and works in Bydgoszcz.
Danuta Jamiołkowska will present two series of works: impressive images painted with acrylics and multi-threaded collages with complex composition structure.
