In her artistic activities, Natalia Kozieł combines the language of painting with the language of printing. She does large format painting, drawing, installation, graphics art and fabric. Currently, she is focused on working with 35mm and 16mm film projectors, overhead projectors and slide projectors. With them, she creates elaborate projection-collages, presented in the various locations: galleries, museums, city cinemas or old factories. She experiments with movie material, creating her works directly on film. She combines still images with moving pictures, and at the same time with strong light and play between black and white. The resulting visualisations based on two- and three-dimensional forms create new, surrealistic places. They spread to all that surrounds them: walls, ceilings, floors. The projections-collages absorb and redefine the original space of the place. They create different systems and structures, independent of the outside world. An integral part of all projections created by Natalia is also the audience, on the one hand enriching the meaning of the works themselves; on the other hand, enhancing the world of inner emotions and elation of the artist.
