Exhibition of teachers of the Leon Wyczółkowski Visual Arts School Complex in Bydgoszcz
The “Beyond Time and the Canon” (Po-Za Czasem i Kanonem) exhibition will present profiles of the teachers of the art school for almost 80 years. Despite differences resulting from, among other things, life experiences or different views on art, the authors presented their visions, imagination and artistic sensitivity through their means of expression. They created, or still create, art resulting from internal needs, sometimes not fitting into classical canons, intuitive. The exhibition includes painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture/ceramics, video, works by teachers currently working at the school as well as invited teachers no longer working at the school. The presentation aims to bring closer the many aspects and complexity of art, sometimes different from that perceived and understood classically, and to show the individualism and intuitiveness of artists.
