Point of Support is an exhibition referring to the long and rich history of Bydgoszcz Furniture Factories, which will present several popular and well-known elements of furnishings for flats produced in the 1960s.
The creators of the most famous and mass-produced equipment were, among others, Rajmund Teofil Hałas, Stanisław Lejkowski, and Wacław Leśniewski.
Good design of Bydgoszcz furniture – bold and modern lines – and their execution are gaining more and more recognition. Thanks to the 1960s becoming trendy again, today we look differently at furniture, which for years was associated with the memory of the People’s Republic of Poland.
All the furniture presented at the exhibition was made available by Michał Kaliski, a Bydgoszcz resident who has for years been passionate about renovating vintage furniture.
