In a series of interactive lectures and workshops we will take a look together at what we are made of, what stories we carry, how they influence our perception of ourselves, others, life, work, relationship, family, distinctness, development… We will look at the messages that “give us wings” and those that make the joy of life run away. We will explore the relationship between the social system and our individual experiences. Katarzyna Dworaczyk’s lectures will be based on the author’s experience – her own life and her training and therapeutic work. In the workshop part we will collect sayings and stories that the participants remember.
Katarzyna Dworaczyk is a visual artist, author of documentary films and an illustrated book of self remembrance “Everything that is now started there”. In her work, she uses her experiences of a therapist and a trainer of communication. She is interested in the subject of beliefs and memory, and in the processes of remembrance that build our identity. During her stay in Bydgoszcz, she will study the convictions of the residents to create together their “portrait of remembrance”, both during her personal journey through the city and during direct meetings at the workshops.
