This performative exhibition by Danuta Milewska entitled Sunshine of Your Heart is based on selected works from the collection of the Municipal Gallery bwa in Bydgoszcz/Poland, by Dorota Buczkowska, Jan Dobkowski, Maurycy Gomulicki, Krzysztof Gruse, Alicja Kubicka, Krzysztof Maniak, Marta Normington, Monika Rak and Sonia Rammer.
An important element of the exhibition is to highlight the spiritual and emotional value of this choice from the collection and the possibility to perceive through own heart. This curatorial strategy comes from a passion for exploring the layers of art’s essence and the decision to recognise one’s rights from birth: to feel, to oneself, to be healthy, to dance, to be present, to sunrises and sunsets…
