RESONANCE is a cycle of images that I started painting in 2014. Each day, from the infinite number of images, sounds and sensations I choose the ones that intrigue me. The images I create are not presentational, nor are they abstract. They’re emotional sometimes subtle, sometimes expressive. They are the sum of the experience gained, the result of conversations with myself, with others. With painting, I organise the chaos resulting from the excess of messages coming to my “centre.” The sum of everyday and unusual events, various biographical threads affect the message of the paintings. Painting is for me a kind of defence against aggressive reality. So what is it, this painting? I ask. And I answer myself: I don’t yet know exactly…?
It is certainly an attempt to record the process of passing.
The exhibition is dedicated to SuperCzarna. ;
