Kinga Kowalczyk explores matter as part of our gallery’s artist residence, following her fascination with the lotus.
She weaves simultaneously several creative processes in such media as ceramics, photography, drawing, text, animation, printmaking, including linocut, monotype, silkscreen, mokulito… Her sense of balance allows this exploration of matter and herself in it all to be seen as a path of attentiveness.

Kinga Kowalczyk – ceramic artist specializing in tea ceramics, mainly in porcelain. In her work, she combines ceramics, arts and crafts with design and graphic techniques and photography. She creates a variety of decorative motifs, inspired by culture and nature. She has trained in graphic design, typography, printmaking and drawing as well as illustration from recognized masters of the trade, including Tony Pritchard, Wolfgang Weingart, Peter Olpe, Pablo Auladell, Pablo Amargo, Isol Misenta, Ilgi Leimanis and Guy Noble and Nicola Jaeggli.
