40 YEARS OF TEACHING AND ARTISTIC WORK
Zbigniew Jastrowski is the author of twenty three individual exhibitions and a participant of several group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His works can be found in galleries and private collections in Australia, , USA, France and Germany.
He co-organiser and participant of many open-airs, symposiums, projects and artistic activities in Poland and Germany. Among them are “Port artystyczny” (Art Port) — a project taking place as a part of the subsequent editions of “Rejs” (Voyage), an artistic voyage along the trans-European water route £-70 organised by the Bydgoskie Stowarzyszenie Artystyczne (Bydgoszcz Art Society). In 1991-2000, Zbigniew Jastrowski was the chairmen of the branch of the Polish Association for Art Education in Bydgoszcz; in 1999-2002, member of the Board of Art Societies in Bydgoszcz; since 2004, he’s a member of the Bydgoszcz Art Society.
Zbigniew Jastrowski does painting, drawing and graphics design. He’s a visual artist and above all, as he himself points out, a teacher. He’s been teaching art for 40 years to children and young people, simultaneously creating his own paintings.
